I never thought of myself as a cat person, but I am definitely an animal person. I have always grown up with cats, dogs or horses. When I moved out on my own, I didn't have any pets. Finally, I had the chance to fill my life with fluffy joy again!
These two beings, they were a bit of an accident in that I wasn't looking for a pet at the time but they were too damn cute. I picked one, my roommate chose the other and the classic line was fed to us, "Why don't you bring both home and you can decide once you get to know them!". That didn't happen 😆. So that's how I got these two matching beauties. One boy and one girl who also changed my world.
These cats are not the usual, "get away from me, human" types. They enjoy belly rubs, will occasionally play fetch, they enjoy conversing with me and they are receptive to moods. The girl, MooMoo, will try to intervene if she feels someone is upset. If she hears yelling, arguing or frustration, she will come and check on you. The boy, Bubba, will not leave my side on those feeling-poor days. Together, these two really complete this family unit.
